So I realized that it's been a long time since I uploaded stuff, or even wrote an entry. Many apologises for that a lot has been going on with work, with my home situation, among other things. But I have good news and great news and stupid news(note the lack of bad news!)^^

Good news is. I have been taking photos, lots of them in fact. None of them actual photoshoots, but mostly experimental stuff. A lot of them turned out great too! I've been testing out new equipment I got recently (580ex II, a new lens, a flash kits with a bunch of different flash heads). So yeah, soon tons of incoming images(mostly landscape and greenery stuff)

Now the great news! Anime North 2013 is just around the corner!  And I'm going^^ and also! ALSO~ I have quite a few photoshoots set up. So if all goes as planned, look forward to that!

Now for stupid news! I'm very lazy, which is why I haven't been uploading. It's actually a pain in the ass to upload images from my camera to my computer, then edit(by edit I usually just mean converting my Raw CR2 files to high quality jpegs) then finally taking ages to upload, give names, write descriptions, etc.  Very time consuming.
So my photoshoots next week will get priority naturally. I'll dedicate my sunday to it if anything to get that all up for you guys.

The other stuff I'll get up here as soon as I can, but it is very time consuming :(

So yeah, that's all I really have to say, look forward to the coming weeks! (I'll post more entries as time goes on!)

Just noticed that you're based in 'sauga. Did you take any schooling for photography? I'm looking to get a ton better since looking back at my old material, it's completely and utterly crap hahaha.

Oh I forgot to mention, shoot in RAW, and when you edit, either use that photography editing program on MACs, or if you're a PC user I highly suggest Adobe Lightroom. Editing takes away quality if it's a Jpeg, so yeah, RAW is best for that.

I had opportunities to have photography classes in high school and even now in university. However, I never took any classes.

I just randomly got really into photography about two years ago, and quite literally just looked stuff up on my own time at home and just went outside shot stuff, friends, etc. Practice is the best way to get good.

When it comes to photography though you can get good EXTREMELY quickly. It's passing that threshold to become amazing that's really hard(hell I'm not even there yet clearly xD)

So yeah, practice, practice, practice! And you'll get good in no time :)
(oh and obviously good equipment helps, however, not mandatory, I use a VERY cheap 50mm normally with my Canon 60D)
